Why Choose Palisades Vein Center
Specialized Expertise
We’re a dedicated vein clinic — not a general med spa. Our specialists focus specifically on venous and vascular conditions, which means deeper expertise and better outcomes for your veins.
Accredited Vascular Lab
Accurate treatment starts with accurate diagnosis. Our accredited vascular lab uses non-invasive ultrasound to map your veins and identify the true source of the problem before any treatment begins.
Complete Range of Treatments
From sclerotherapy to radiofrequency ablation, Varithena, and VenaSeal, we offer every major vein treatment in-office — so your plan fits your veins, not the one procedure we happen to offer.

Insurance & Coverage
Many vein treatments are covered by insurance when they’re medically necessary — for example, when varicose veins cause pain, swelling, heaviness, or skin changes confirmed by ultrasound. Purely cosmetic treatments, such as spider vein removal, are typically not covered. Our team will verify your benefits and explain any out-of-pocket costs clearly before treatment begins, so there are no surprises.
Vein Doctor FAQs
Varicose veins and other venous conditions are treated by vein specialists — often vascular surgeons or physicians with specialized training in venous disease. At Palisades Vein Center, our board-certified specialists focus specifically on diagnosing and treating vein conditions, using an accredited vascular lab to guide every treatment plan.
A vascular doctor specializes in conditions affecting the blood vessels — arteries and veins. For vein conditions specifically, that means diagnosing and treating problems like varicose veins, spider veins, and chronic venous insufficiency, often using minimally invasive, in-office procedures rather than open surgery.
No referral is needed to schedule a consultation at Palisades Vein Center. You can book directly at any of our six locations across New York and New Jersey.
Consider seeing a vein specialist if you have bulging or rope-like veins, clusters of spider veins, or symptoms like leg aching, heaviness, swelling, itching, or skin changes. These can be signs of underlying venous insufficiency that’s best evaluated with a diagnostic ultrasound.
Yes. We offer free consultations so you can meet with a specialist, discuss your concerns, and learn about your options before making any decisions. If a diagnostic ultrasound is needed to evaluate for medically necessary treatment, our team will explain how that works and verify your insurance coverage.
